Photographs and other materials that were assembled into a panel in 1988 for the Northwest Black Heritage exhibit at the Oregon Historical Society, documenting the history and activities of the Oregon Association of Colored Women's Clubs and its constituent groups: Altruistic Club, Fleur de Lis Club, Katherine Gray Club, Literary Research Club, Multnomah Women's Club, and Harriet Tubman Club.

The Oregon Colored Women's Council was formed in 1912 at Portland. In 1917, reflecting growth in number of constituent clubs, the Oregon Federation of Colored Women's Clubs was formed, growing to as many as 17 member organizations. Katherine Gray was the first president of the federation.
